:)The Lupus Research Institute sent out an email this morning with some news about prospective treatment of SLE. What the are doing has extended the life of lab mice by 3 months (that would be 8 human years) and has reduced the lupus symptoms. Pat- that is totally KOOL! I read the article. It looks like these nanogels deliver immune system attacking antibodies in such a way that they are more effective then conventional medication delivery. That seems promising. Thanks for the link Jujubeee! I completely missed the salt article but I will make sure to read it. The nanogel article sounds promising to me too. If they are already using it to deliver medication to cancer patients maybe we won't have to wait years for it to be available for us.
